Your new company We are currently recruiting for a leading Mechanical & Electrical services provider with reach across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and The Republic of Ireland.
The Permanent Full-Time Plumber will join the Facilities Management team at a large hospital site in Belfast.
This is a static-site position, meaning all work will be carried out at one hospital location with no requirement to travel between successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing systems throughout the hospital, ensuring critical services remain operational and compliant within a busy healthcare environment.
Your new role Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on plumbing systems and equipment.
Diagnose and repair faults on hot and cold water systems.
Maintain and repair sanitary ware, pipework, valves, pumps, and drainage systems.
Undertake reactive maintenance in response to service requests.
Assist with plumbing installations and minor project work.
Support compliance with statutory regulations and healthcare maintenance standards.
Complete maintenance records, work orders, and reports accurately.
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Health & Safety policies.
Liaise professionally with hospital staff, contractors, and colleagues.
Essential Criteria NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification).
Previous experience in a commercial, industrial, healthcare, or facilities maintenance environment.
Valid CSR Card (Construction Skills Register) - Essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
Knowledge of Legionella control and water hygiene requirements.
Experience working within planned preventative maintenance programmes.
Experience using CAFM or electronic maintenance management systems.
Flexible and proactive attitude.
