Your new role

As a Paralegal, you will provide high-quality administrative and legal support across a range of governance and adjudication functions. You will manage case files, coordinate documentation, and support the adjudication process, including hearings and reviews. You will play a key role in information governance - drafting and coordinating responses to FOI, SAR and EIR requests, ensuring statutory deadlines are met, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves preparing legal correspondence, conducting research, maintaining legal databases, and supporting wider governance and compliance activity within the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

  • At least two years' experience in a legal or governance-focused administrative role
  • Experience providing legal advice or support to senior staff
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality, data protection and information handling requirements
  • Proficiency with IT systems, including remote communication tools such as MS Teams or Webex
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Desirable experience includes knowledge of GDPR, FOI or administrative justice procedures, and/or experience supporting adjudication or complaints casework.
