Your Role: The Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, security and ongoing support of customer network environments. Working as part of a close-knit technical team, the Network Engineer will support both day-to-day operational requirements and project-based work, ensuring customer networks remain resilient, secure and fit for purpose. The role will involve second- and third-line support, proactive monitoring, and close collaboration with both customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality technical outcomes.
What You Need to Succeed: The successful candidate will have strong experience supporting and managing enterprise network environments, with particular expertise across HPE (HP) networking hardware, Aruba switching and wireless technologies, Cisco networking solutions and Barracuda firewalls. Experience working with security technologies, including XDR platforms, and supporting virtualised environments such as Microsoft Hyper-V will be important. Previous experience within a managed services or MSP environment, or supporting multi-site and enterprise networks, will be highly advantageous, along with relevant networking or security certifications. Strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in long-term professional development are essential.
