Your new company is one of the best known food groups in Ireland, with an excellent reputation for processes, training, and career development. They are a high volume producer within FMCG and have invested steadily in the upgrade of site, equipment, and processes over the years. Due to a focus on a more planned maintenance program, they wish to appoint 2 new engineers into a day-based maintenance engineer role to be hands-on but focus on root cause analysis and proper long-term fixes to improve OEE.

Your new role involves working in a large maintenance team, Monday to Friday, supporting the team while also focusing on analysis of breakdowns and issues. You will examine how future work can provide a longer-term fix, thus reducing instances of breakdown and freeing the team to work on more preventative-based tasks.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Time served in engineering
  • Multi-skilled ability
  • Production related or transferable experience

What you'll get in return:

Salary is circa £50000 before overtime for a Monday to Friday role, 33 days annual leave, a very strong pension, and a host of additional benefits. Salary is high for a days-based role, because if the continental days team needs support, you can be expected to cover on occasion and pay for this as standard.
