This well-established organisation plays a key role in delivering complex building and infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland and beyond. Your New Role Reporting directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will support the delivery of quantity surveying services across a range of construction projects. You will gain exposure to all aspects of project cost management, including subcontractor administration, cost control, cash flow management, risk management, change control, procurement, and contract administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to further develop their skills within a collaborative consultancy environment, working alongside experienced professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects.
What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered, you should have approximately 3 years' experience within the construction or built environment sector, ideally gained within a consultancy environment, although contractor-side experience will also be considered. You will possess:
- A solid understanding of cost planning, tendering, procurement, and contract administration.
- Knowledge of project cost control and financial reporting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, commercially aware, and detail-oriented approach to your work.
- Ideally, you will be working towards or have achieved RICS chartered status, although candidates actively progressing through the APC process will also be considered.
