With a strong reputation built on technical expertise, professionalism, and long-standing client relationships, the consultancy has developed a healthy pipeline of work and is now seeking an Intermediate Building Surveyor to join its growing Belfast office.

  • A new hotel development valued at approximately £13 million.

  • A hospitality development incorporating guest accommodation valued at approximately £3 million.
  • A major regeneration and refurbishment project for a private-sector client valued at approximately £4 million.

These schemes provide excellent exposure to both new-build and refurbishment projects across a variety of sectors and procurement routes.

Your New Role As an Intermediate Building Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of professional building surveying and project-related services across a diverse project portfolio. Working closely with senior surveyors, project managers, clients, and contractors, you will gain exposure to projects from initial feasibility and survey stages through to contract administration, project delivery, and completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking condition surveys, defect inspections, and measured surveys.
  • Preparing technical reports, schedules of condition, and specifications.
  • Assisting with contract administration duties and project delivery.
  • Supporting refurbishment, fit-out, and new-build developments.
  • Advising clients on building defects, maintenance, and remedial solutions.
  • Managing project documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Attending client, contractor, and design team meetings.
  • Monitoring project progress, costs, and programme delivery.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex commissions while gradually taking ownership of your own projects.

What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this position, you should possess:
