Your new role

As HR Business Partner, you will provide practical, hands-on support across several business units while balancing hybrid working with regular on-site presence. The role is broad and generalist, giving you the opportunity to work closely with both senior and operational stakeholders. You will be responsible for:

  • Advising managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters
  • Managing employee relations cases including absence, conduct, grievance and performance
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning
  • Ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures
  • Providing guidance on UK employment legislation and best practice
  • Supporting organisational change and consultation activity
  • Maintaining accurate HR data and producing people metrics
  • Contributing to engagement, wellbeing and development initiatives
  • Building strong working relationships across multiple sites

This is a role where your judgement, confidence and ability to influence will make a measurable impact.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience managing ER cases end-to-end
  • Proven background in a HR generalist or partnering role
  • Ability to work across multiple sites in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and organisational skills
  • High levels of professionalism, discretion and credibility
  • Confidence working with HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience (higher level desirable)

Desirable experience includes:

  • Previous stand-alone HR responsibility
  • Multi-site or multi-entity environments
  • Experience preparing monitoring or reporting activity
