Your new company HAYS Property & Surveying NI are proudly working in collaboration with a highly respected, established multidisciplinary consultancy in their search for a building surveyor to join their Belfast team. This organisation plays a pivotal role in delivering complex building and infrastructure projects across Northern Ireland and beyond, with expertise spanning across most, if not all, the built environment and construction.

Your new role We are seeking an ambitious Building Surveyor looking for a rewarding career journey. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to the role and demonstrate a track record of delivering excellent customer service, promoting knowledge and best practice across projects and achieving successful outcomes for clients.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in Building Surveying or similar technical discipline, MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body.
  • Experience: Strong technical delivery experience, good knowledge of JCT Contracts, track record in project management of projects from inception to completion, evidence of working with multiple stakeholders, previously employed by a consultancy, experience working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines.
  • Behaviours: Ability to successfully manage complex projects in a proactive and diligent manner, excellent specification writing skills, client facing, ensuring a high standard of technical delivery.
