Your new role As Group Financial Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and take overall responsibility for the group's financial control environment, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple will lead and develop an established finance team, oversee group consolidation and reporting, manage external audit processes, and support key strategic initiatives. Working at the centre of the finance function, you will play a key role in maintaining strong governance while supporting continued growth and change across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include: Leading the group's financial control, governance, and reporting processes. Managing monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidations. Overseeing statutory and management reporting across multiple entities. Leading and developing a team of qualified finance professionals. Managing external audit relationships and ensuring timely completion of audit requirements. Supporting acquisitions, integrations, refinancing activities, and other strategic projects. Driving process improvement, automation, and finance transformation initiatives. Partnering with senior leadership on board reporting and key business decisions. Overseeing treasury activities, cash flow forecasting, and risk management. Supporting group-wide tax compliance and financial governance activities. What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience operating at Financial Controller, Group Financial Controller, Head of Finance or similar senior finance leadership be successful, you will demonstrate: Experience within a private equity-backed business environment. Strong international and multi-entity group finance experience. Proven expertise in group consolidation and financial reporting. Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams. A strong understanding of financial controls, governance, and risk management. Previous exposure to acquisitions, due diligence, refinancing, or corporate transactions. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at executive level. Strong systems and process improvement experience. Experience in treasury management and group tax matters would be particularly advantageous.
