Your New Role As Groundworks Foreman, you will take responsibility for coordinating and supervising day-to-day site operations relating to groundworks and civil engineering activities throughout the development. Working closely with the Site Management team, engineers, subcontractors and direct labour, you will ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to responsibilities will include: Supervising groundworks and civil engineering activities across the development. Coordinating site teams, plant operators and subcontractors. Managing drainage, roads, kerbing, foundations, retaining structures and associated infrastructure works. Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements. Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality across site operations. Assisting with material planning, deliveries and resource allocation. Reporting progress and potential issues to site management. What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience operating in a Foreman or supervisory capacity on civil engineering, groundworks or residential infrastructure should be able to demonstrate: Proven experience supervising groundwork or civils teams. Strong knowledge of drainage, road construction, earthworks and residential infrastructure. The ability to organise labour, plant and subcontractors effectively. A proactive approach to problem-solving and programme delivery. Excellent communication and leadership skills. A strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards. Experience working on large-scale residential developments would be particularly advantageous.
