Your new company is a leading infrastructure programme seeking a motivated Graduate Engineer to support a major civil engineering initiative focused on surveying and improving existing infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a structured and safety-critical environment.

Your new role involves being responsible for surveying and recording existing drainage and associated infrastructure. Working as part of a wider engineering team, you will support ongoing works aimed at improving resilience and addressing potential points of failure. This role will involve:

  • Conducting site inspections and surveys of drainage and earthworks assets.
  • Recording and reporting infrastructure condition data accurately.
  • Working in line with strict health and safety procedures.
  • Supporting engineers with field-based data collection.
  • Shift work including nights and weekends as required.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Ideally 1-2 years' UK experience.
  • Full Manual UK driving licence (must be able to drive a manual vehicle).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to work outdoors.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • A Personal Track Safety (PTS) card would be advantageous, but is not essential (training can be provided).
