Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by our client, an established and busy construction consultancy based in Belfast, to recruit a Freelance Quantity Surveyor on a temporary contract / freelance basis to assist with a peak in workload.
Your new role
Working as part of a larger projects team on x2 retail fit-out projects, you will provide pre-contract QS services to include:
- Producing estimates, budgets and cost plans
- Preparing bills of quantities
Work is available immediately for an experienced individual who can provide freelance support.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Quantity Surveyor (PQS) with a demonstrable track record of providing cost management input on building projects as outlined above. You will be self-motivated and able to work independently, largely managing your own workload.
What you'll get in return
A competitive hourly rate is available which will be paid weekly by Hays for all hours worked via BACS transfer. The client is offering a good degree of flexibility and is open to hiring an individual to work remotely and on a part-time basis, 1-2 days per week.
