An exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-growth, private equity-backed business based in County Antrim. The organisation has ambitious expansion plans and is seeking to appoint a commercially focused Finance Director to join its executive leadership team. Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Board and key stakeholders, you will lead the finance function while contributing to the strategic development and growth of the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic financial leadership and commercial support to the executive team.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial planning activities.
- Delivering timely and insightful management reporting and performance analysis.
- Driving business growth through robust financial modelling and commercial decision support.
- Managing banking relationships, funding arrangements and working capital requirements.
- Ensuring strong financial controls, governance and compliance processes are maintained.
- Leading the annual audit and tax processes.
- Developing KPI reporting and performance measurement frameworks.
- Identifying opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and overall business performance.

What you'll need to succeed:
- Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Proven experience operating as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, Financial Controller or similar senior finance leadership level.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrable experience supporting business growth, transformation or change programmes.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience presenting financial information to boards, investors and senior leadership teams.
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving capabilities.
