Your new role

As an Executive Assistant (Maternity Cover), you will provide dedicated, high-level support to a senior executive, ensuring they are fully prepared for all meetings, events, and strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex calendars, meetings, and competing priorities
  • Preparing high-quality PowerPoint presentations, including pulling together content from reports and multiple data sources
  • Ensuring the executive is fully briefed and prepared for meetings and engagements
  • Taking accurate minutes at meetings, ensuring they are documented, reviewed, and signed off
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of events
  • Acting as a key liaison for internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively identifying potential issues and resolving them before escalation
  • Supporting governance processes and maintaining strict confidentiality at all times

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in executive support, administration or office management
  • Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges proactively
  • The ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a deadline-driven environment

  • Experience in minute-taking and report writing
  • Experience coordinating travel, events, and executive-level schedules

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Canva)
  • Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
