Your new role

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll contribute to the design and delivery of electrical engineering solutions for major water sector projects. From treatment works to pumping stations and network upgrades, you'll play a key role in ensuring technical excellence and compliance across the full project lifecycle - from concept design through to construction support. You'll work closely with senior engineers and project stakeholders across the UK and internationally, preparing technical designs, supporting bids, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake electrical design work in accordance with UK and industry standards.
  • Assist in preparing briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals.
  • Manage your time effectively to meet project milestones and budgets.
  • Collaborate with electrical teams and stakeholders to deliver robust solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards in all deliverables.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of LV and HV systems, MCCs/switchgear, industrial/process installations, HAZOP assessments, DSEAR/ATEX compliance, SLD/BCD production, earthing and bonding.
  • Familiarity with UK water industry standards and electrical engineering practices within complex project environments.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software such as Trimble/Amtech.
  • Open to professionals with combined experience such as Water Nuclear or Water Oil & Gas, bringing transferable skills and sector knowledge.
