Your new role We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Construction Operative to join a busy maintenance and refurbishment team working across residential and commercial properties in the East Belfast area.

This is an excellent long-term opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who can demonstrate a broad range of construction skills and is comfortable undertaking varied works as part of a multi-skilled successful candidate will be flexible, reliable, and capable of delivering high-quality workmanship across a range of trades while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Carry out demolition and strip-out works as required.

Complete wall and floor tiling to a high standard.

Undertake joinery and general carpentry repairs and installations.

Perform general building maintenance and refurbishment works.

Complete snagging, repairs, and reinstatement following maintenance works.

Work across a variety of properties and projects as directed.

Ensure compliance with all health and safety procedures on site.

Maintain a professional approach when working in occupied properties.

Accurately record completed works and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

What you'll need to succeed Essential Requirements Proven experience as a multi-skilled construction operative.

Strong practical experience in: Demolition Tiling Joinery General building and maintenance works Valid CSR Card.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible approach to work.

Excellent awareness of health and safety requirements.

Good communication and customer service skills.

Desirable Requirements Experience working within social housing, planned maintenance, or response maintenance environments.

Additional trade skills such as plastering, painting, plumbing, or flooring.

Relevant trade qualifications.
