Your new company is recruiting on behalf of an established M&E contractor for a Mechanical & Electrical BIM Technician to join their growing technical team.
Your new role involves working closely with engineers, project managers and site teams. You will be responsible for producing and coordinating BIM models and technical drawings using Revit MEP across a range of construction projects.
- Develop and maintain M&E BIM models using Revit MEP
- Produce detailed technical and installation drawings
- Coordinate services with architectural and structural models
- Carry out clash detection using Revit and Navisworks
- Update models throughout the project lifecycle
- Liaise with engineers, project teams and subcontractors
- Attend site visits and project meetings as required
What you'll need to succeed:
- Minimum 2 years' experience using Autodesk Revit MEP within a building services, M&E contractor or engineering consultancy environment
- Experience producing and coordinating M&E BIM models and technical drawings
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Strong communication, organisational and coordination skills
Desirable:
- Experience using Navisworks for clash detection
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud experience
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BIM standards
- Experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, infrastructure or data centre projects
