Your new company is an award-winning, top-tier MEP contractor with exceptional bid success and a strong pipeline of secured work seeking an MEP BIM Coordinator/Technician to join their expanding Digital Construction team. With an impressive client portfolio across the UK and Ireland, they deliver high-quality projects in Health, Education, Industrial, Leisure, and Commercial sectors. This role is based in their Belfast office, with occasional travel to other offices as required.
Your new role involves working as part of the Digital Construction team across a range of sectors and taking ownership of your own projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing BIM models and reports to company standards
- Producing GA drawings and detailed sheets
- Creating builders works schedules and associated drawings
- 3D modelling of prefabricated and modular solutions
- Staying up to date with industry best practice for BIM and Revit MEP
- Carrying out M&E design work using Revit MEP and Navisworks
- Producing detailed 3D working drawings and scheme layouts
- Managing system clashes through Navisworks Manage
- Developing 3D coordinated services and structural layouts
- Producing 2D/3D design drawings, prefabrication isometrics and details
- Ensuring compliance with BIM Level 2 and COBie data requirements
What you will need to succeed:
- Strong experience in design, drafting, engineering, or BIM production
- Proficiency in Revit MEP
- Experience using Navisworks Manage and conducting clash detection
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with BIM 360 and Autodesk Docs
- Experience with Fabrication MEP/CADDuct is beneficial but not essential
