Your new role As Bid Administrator, you will support the preparation, coordination and submission of high-quality bids and tender responses. Working closely with the Bid Manager and wider business teams, you will help ensure all submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered within strict deadlines. Key responsibilities will include: Supporting the coordination and delivery of bid and tender submissions from initial enquiry through to final submission. Assessing new opportunities and assisting in determining their suitability and commercial viability.* Ensuring all bid documentation is completed to a consistently high standard of quality and accuracy. Collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather information and develop compelling tender responses. Maintaining and updating bid libraries, standard responses and template documentation. Assisting with the design, formatting and production of bid documentation and supporting materials. Completing pre-qualification questionnaires and coordinating information requests across the business. Working alongside estimating teams to support the preparation and accuracy of pricing documentation. Participating in tender review meetings and supporting bid presentations or interviews when required. Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and other key stakeholders. Supporting quality, environmental and compliance procedures in line with business standards. Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure full auditability and traceability of bid activities. Contributing to ongoing training, continuous improvement initiatives and wider corporate responsibility programmes. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will combine strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in developing a career within bid management. You will ideally possess: A minimum 2:1 bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Project Management, Law or a related discipline. GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent). 1-2 years' experience within administration, project support, coordination or a similar professional environment. Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines within a fast-paced setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent document formatting, proofreading and attention-to-detail capabilities. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent time management and organisational skills. The ability to follow structured processes accurately and consistently. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills. Desirable experience includes: Previous involvement in bid, tender, proposal or pre-construction activities. Experience within construction, engineering, professional services or a similar sector. Knowledge of bid management systems or document collaboration platforms. Experience in an administration, coordination or support-focused role. A full driving licence. Eligibility to work within the UK and ROI.
