We are working in partnership with a leading engineering consultancy with a strong presence across the UK and Ireland. The organisation is renowned for delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions, and is currently expanding its Water Infrastructure team. This team plays a pivotal role in designing and delivering water and wastewater projects that support communities and protect the environment.

Your new role

As an Assistant Engineer in the Water Infrastructure team, you will support the delivery of a wide range of water-related projects based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the design and development of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  • Supporting senior engineers in preparing technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conducting site visits and surveys to gather data and monitor project progress.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Using engineering software to perform calculations and modelling.
  • Contributing to sustainable design practices and innovation in water engineering.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this Assistant Engineering role, you should have:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
