Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by our client, an established Housing Association based in Belfast, to recruit an Assets Manager on a temporary contract basis for an initial period of 3-6 months with the possibility of further extension.
Your new role
You will assist in ensuring that the Housing Association's property portfolio is maintained to high standards - this will include:
- Managing comprehensive planned & cyclical maintenance schedules, ensuring efficient delivery of maintenance works across the housing stock.
- Monitoring the condition of properties and components, forecasting future maintenance needs and ensuring cost-effective lifecycle management.
- Investment planning, including managing and maintaining up-to-date stock condition data and surveys to prioritise areas for improvement, refurbishment, or redevelopment.
- Overseeing the performance of contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality delivery of planned works and compliance with contract specifications.
- Managing performance and customer relations for the Association's responsive maintenance service, providing leadership and line management to the Assets team to ensure a high-quality service is delivered.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A third level qualification (HNC, HND or Bachelor's Degree) in a construction-related discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in reactive/response and planned/cyclical maintenance at a supervisory or management level.
- Relevant experience must include:
- MTC Contract management.
- Performance monitoring in a client-facing role (SLA's & KPI adherence).
- Responsibility for customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Supervising staff, which should include directing/delegating work and dealing with problems including identification and resolution.
