Your new role As Personal Secretary, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to a busy multidisciplinary team.
You will be responsible for managing diaries, coordinating meetings, preparing documentation, maintaining filing systems, handling correspondence, and acting as a key point of contact for staff, service users and external responsibilities will include: Managing diaries, scheduling meetings and organising venues.
Providing high-quality word processing support including letters, reports and meeting minutes.
Supporting the preparation of presentations and departmental documentation.
Maintaining accurate records, databases and statistical information.
Handling telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Managing office administration processes, filing systems and stationery supplies.
Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as required What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this role, you will meet one of the following criteria: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English Language and Maths (or equivalent), plus at least 1 year's administrative/clerical experience.
OR an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent) plus at least 1 year's administrative/clerical experience.
OR a minimum of 3 years' administrative/clerical experience.
You will also demonstrate: Experience using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience arranging meetings, maintaining diaries and taking minutes.
A professional approach with the ability to handle confidential information sensitively.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate documentation.
Experience working with electronic patient information systems or similar databases.
Experience using integrated healthcare or case management systems.
What you'll get in return £12.75 per hour Full-time hours.
