Your new role

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of best practice within the Quality function. You will focus on defect prevention, reducing variation and waste, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across production and stores. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring quality performance, supporting process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal systems and regulatory standards.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong quality background within a manufacturing environment
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Experience in a Quality Engineering role within manufacturing
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulatory and quality standards (e.g. AS9100 or equivalent - desirable)
  • Experience with quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, RCA, control plans)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles

Skills and competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

Qualifications:

  • Third-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
