Your new company Hays are delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing FMCG business based in County Armagh to recruit a Procurement Coordinator / Buyer. This position offers long-term career stability, exposure to international suppliers, and the opportunity to play a key role in managing supply continuity and product procurement Your new role Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring stock availability, managing supplier relationships, and sourcing products from both existing and new suppliers worldwide. Key responsibilities will include: Identifying short and long-term stock requirements Managing inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted supply to customers Negotiating pricing, contracts and delivery schedules with suppliers Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships across international markets Sourcing new products based on customer requirements Identifying new product opportunities in line with market trends Coordinating inbound logistics and haulage arrangements where required Working closely with internal teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations What you'll need to succeed Essential: Previous experience within an FMCG environment Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email and ERP systems A reliable, organised and highly confidential approach to work Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Desirable: Previous experience within the food industry What you'll get in return Competitive salary of £40,000 per annumMonday to Friday working hours (8:00am - 5:00pm) One-hour lunch break 28 days annual leave including statutory holidays Company pension scheme Healthcare scheme Opportunity to join a stable and growing local employer with international procurement exposure What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
