Your new company is looking for a Groundsperson to work in the Public Sector, based in Antrim.

Your new role includes:

  • Operate and maintain grounds maintenance machinery (mowers, strimmers, chainsaws, etc.)
  • Carry out landscaping tasks (planting, pruning, reseeding, hedge cutting, etc.)
  • Litter removal and site clean-up (including fly-tipping debris)
  • Apply pesticides and weed control chemicals
  • Perform minor equipment maintenance
  • Load/unload tools, materials, and waste
  • Report hazards and support public safety
  • Follow H&S procedures, risk assessments, and COSHH guidance
  • Use and maintain PPE and equipment properly
  • Record work accurately (paper/digital) and meet deadlines
  • Report incidents, hazards, and near misses
  • Mainly outdoor/site-based work
  • Depot access (canteen, toilets)
  • Minimum 20-minute flexible break
  • PPE and tools provided

What you'll need to succeed:

  • 1-5 years' experience
  • Basic IT skills
  • Access NI (Basic) required
  • Desirable: B1E licence, spraying certificate
