Your new company Our client is a long-established Civil Engineering and Groundworks Contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality infrastructure, site development and groundworks projects across Northern Ireland. Backed by significant in-house labour & plant, experienced operational teams, ISO-accredited systems and a robust health & safety culture, the business is well-positioned for continued part of its strategic plans, the company is looking to expand into public sector frameworks and is seeking an experienced Framework Manager to lead this exciting new chapter. Your new role This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a contractor's public sector growth strategy. Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for identifying framework opportunities, securing positions on tender and procurement frameworks, managing bid submissions and establishing relationships with key public sector stakeholders and then managing the operational delivery teams in- will play a pivotal role in building a pipeline of public sector work and other local authority and government bodies. Once contracts are secured, you will work closely with commercial and operational teams to ensure projects are successfully mobilised and role offers a rare opportunity to shape a new division within an established contractor, combining elements of delivery, procurement, management and operational oversight. What you'll need to succeed To be considered, you will have a strong background within civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or groundworks and a thorough understanding of public sector procurement will ideally possess: Previous experience managing public sector frameworks, tender submissions or bid processes. Strong knowledge of procurement routes across Northern Ireland's public sector market. Experience working with organisations such as the Education Authority, DFI, CPD or similar framework providers. Commercial awareness and an understanding of contract delivery. Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. The ability to work across operational, commercial and senior leadership teams. Experience driving delivery of minor works and civils schemes across public or private sectors.
