Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large Housing Association based in Belfast, to recruit an Allocations Officer on a temporary contract basis for a period of 3 months. Your new role You will assist with the allocation of homes to tenants as per the common selection scheme framework, in the best possible way to minimise void and rent loss. This will include: Operating Housing Management database systems in a timely and accurate and actioning reports as with other agencies, organisations, associations, tenants and staff in relation to the waiting offers of allocation to Housing Manager / Senior Housing Officer for out offers and updating the with a range of letting enquiries via telephone, e-mail and other media in relation to allocations and lettings. What you’ll need to succeed To be considered for this position, you must possess: A minimum of 1 year’s experience working in an office environment within Housing / Estate Management.A working knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Word, Excel, Office etcA working knowledge and understanding of the Housing Selection Scheme.A working knowledge and understanding of Housing Management System (HMS).
