An international professional services company has an excellent in-house opportunity for an experienced commercial contracts professional in Leeds. You will play an important role in assisting the development of a business that excels in project management and programme management consultancy work.

Our client has an exceptional portfolio of work, with projects including Crossrail, HS2, and The Shard - displaying the high-profile level of work that you will be dealing with on a daily basis. Our client's organisation works across several sectors and due to increasing demand on the global risk management side of the business, there is an exciting role advising on risks in contracts between clients and suppliers linked with the operational business.

The successful candidate will be someone who can offer contract advice to operational teams as well as liaising with clients on any contractual matters that may arise for the company and their UK-wide business interests. You will join their developing Yorkshire office, learning from senior paralegals with exceptional expertise as well as offering your own knowledge to nurture junior staff development. You will also work very closely with other teams in the business to improve overall risk management and compliance awareness.

At a minimum, candidates looking to apply for this position will need to have legal qualifications (law degree or equivalent legal qualifications) and at least 2 years' previous experience of reviewing/re-drafting contracts. Experience with commercial contract work is looked upon favourably, although this is not a necessity.
