We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in a number of technical projects aimed at improving the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and manage the upgrade to a VMware vSphere environment to version 8.0.
- Upgrade and migrate existing servers running on Microsoft Server 2012 to a newer version.
- Design and implement comprehensive logging and alerting policies to proactively identify and address potential issues.
- Evaluate and implement security improvements to strengthen our IT infrastructure.
- Lead the implementation of MS Entra and advise on best practice.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Document infrastructure changes and procedures for future reference.
- Work collaboratively with other IT professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
Skills And Experience
- Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of VMware technologies, including vSphere 8.0 and related products.
- Experience with Dell VxRail hyper converged infrastructure solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server administration.
- Proficiency in using PRTG or similar monitoring tools.
- Experience with MS Entra.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and results-oriented approach.
