We are looking for an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a forward thinking and supportive primary school. This role is ideal for an established TA ready to take on increased responsibility and play an active part in teaching and learning across the school.
As an HLTA, you will work closely with teaching staff to support high quality education throughout the week, providing stability, structure and engaging learning experiences across classes.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Cover PPA time, ensuring continuity of learning
- Lead small group and whole class intervention sessions
- Support teachers with planning and differentiation
- Provide tailored support to pupils across different subjects
- Contribute to assessment and feedback
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across year groups
- Experienced working within primary settings
- Confident delivering pre planned lessons independently
- Skilled in leading interventions and supporting progress
- Calm, organised, and able to adapt to different classes
- Passionate about supporting every child to achieve their best
- Qualified at HLTA status or equivalent experience
- Paid up to £130 per hour (depending on experience)
