An established specialist SEND school in Wolverhampton is seeking a full-time SEND Teacher to support a small KS2/KS3 class of up to 6 pupils. This opportunity is available through Hays Education on a timesheet basis, initially on a temporary contract, with the potential for longer-term or permanent opportunities.

This is an excellent role for a primary or secondary trained teacher, SEND teacher, or ECT with a passion for special education, looking to work in a nurturing, well-resourced setting with excellent classroom support.

The SEND Teacher Role
  • Full-time teaching responsibility for a KS2/KS3 SEND class (maximum 6 pupils)
  • Plan and deliver differentiated SEND lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Support pupils with complex learning difficulties, communication needs, and SEMH
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and support staff
  • Maintain a structured, calm and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to EHCP outcomes, behaviour plans and personalised learning programmes
