A well-established and growing professional services firm is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its expanding outsourcing team. Working with a varied portfolio of UK and international clients, you'll become part of a collaborative business that combines technical expertise with a genuinely supportive and down-to-earth culture. Your new role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Managing a portfolio of UK and international clients
- Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
- Performing balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting clients with accounting software queries
- Working with a variety of accounting systems, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics and SAP
- Liaising directly with clients and building long-term relationships
- Supporting process improvements and efficiencies within client finance functions
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge
- Previous experience preparing management accounts
- Experience completing VAT returns
- Confident undertaking balance sheet reconciliations
- Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Experience gained within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment would be advantageous.
