Teaching Assistant Role - Duties & Responsibilities:- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND
- Supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH, communication and interaction needs, and additional learning needs
- Assisting with the delivery of differentiated lessons planned by the teacher
- Supporting pupils within the resource base and mainstream classrooms where appropriate
- Assisting with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and social skills development
- Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive engagement with learning
- Supporting transitions between lessons and learning environments
- Monitoring and feeding back on pupil progress to teachers and SEN staff
- Assisting with personal care where required (training provided if necessary)
- Supporting pupils in line with their EHCP targets
- Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience desirable)

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable but not essential
