This specialist setting supports 16-19-year-olds to develop industry-relevant skills, combining academic study with practical, career-focused learning in the creative arts sector. Your new role As a Visual Arts Tutor specialising in Film Media, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and industry-relevant teaching across creative programmes. You will teach approximately 19 hours per week and contribute to a range of Visual Arts pathways, including Film, Graphics and Photography.
You will:
- Plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons across visual arts programmes
- Support students' academic and personal development through effective tutorial and pastoral guidance
- Track student progress, attendance and achievement
- Contribute to curriculum development and course planning
- Support enrichment activities such as trips, industry engagement and course promotion
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards and positive outcomes for learners
