About the Project
Gatwick Airport is undergoing a major, long-term expansion programme, with work expected to continue until 2030. We are currently looking for Labourers to support a subcontractor within the airport. The initial assignment is for 1 week. However, if all goes well, it is expected that this will be extended until at least August 2026.
Hours: Mon to Fri, 8am to 4pm
Start: Immediate
Pay Rate: £17/hr (Umbrella) or £14.50/hr PAYE - 8 hours paid per day
Duties include:
- Refurbishment of public airside areas including gates, toilets, walkways
- Taking down / putting up hoarding
- Demolition works
- Moving materials
- General site tidying and maintaining a safe working environment
- Assisting trades on site
What you'll need:
You’ll have previous labouring experience and a valid CSCS card. Experience working in an airport is beneficial but not essential. 5 point PPE required. As part of the onboarding process, we will apply for an Airside pass on your behalf (this will require a Basic DBS check and a verifiable 5-year work history).
