Your new role as a Trusts Estates Tax Manager involves managing a varied portfolio of UK trusts and estates, acting as a trusted adviser to clients while supporting the development of junior staff. You will be responsible for:
- Managing a diverse portfolio of trusts, estates, and high-net-worth individuals, ensuring the delivery of both compliance and advisory work.
- Overseeing the preparation and review of trust and estate tax returns.
- Providing technical advice across inheritance tax (IHT), capital gains tax (CGT), and income tax matters.
- Supporting clients with trust structuring, succession planning, and estate administration.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships as a key point of contact.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and identifying opportunities to grow the private client offering.
- Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team.
What you'll need to succeed: CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with proven experience.
