Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a transactional finance team, promoting high performance and continuous improvement.
- Take ownership of financial systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and effective system use.
- Oversee the delivery of accurate and timely payments, maintaining strong financial controls.
- Support audit processes, risk management, and fraud prevention activities.
- Provide guidance on statutory and regulatory requirements including VAT, CIS, and IR35.
- Produce financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations.
- Work closely with stakeholders to improve and embed best practice across purchase-to-pay processes.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Part Qualified or AAT Level 4.
- Experience working in a similar role.
- Experience in Finance Operations and ERP Systems.
- Strong knowledge of P2P processes.
- Team leadership experience.
- Have experience working in the public sector.
