Interim Finance Manager Location: Tiverton area Rate: Up to £325 per day Contract: Interim (Up to 9 months initially)
A well-established manufacturing and engineering organisation based in the Tiverton area is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide leadership and stability to its finance function during a key period for the business.
This is a hands-on role requiring a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly build relationships, support the finance team, and ensure robust financial control and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the day-to-day activities of the finance team
- Oversee monthly management accounts and reporting processes
- Ensure strong financial controls and governance are maintained
- Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning
- Support year-end activities and audit preparation
- Drive continuous improvement across finance processes
- Business partner with operational and senior leadership teams
- Provide financial insight to support decision-making
About You
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience with relevant background)
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or similar senior finance lead
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
- Manufacturing, engineering or similar operational sector experience preferred
- Experience managing and developing finance teams
- Able to work independently and make an immediate impact
- Available at short notice
