Job Description
Are you an experienced Logistics Coordinator looking for a short-term opportunity? A leading manufacturer based in Wigan is recruiting a temporary Logistics Coordinator for a 4-6 week contract to support their busy supply chain team.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing and coordinating import and export shipments to ensure smooth and timely deliveries from suppliers in Asia to customers in the UK and
- Handling documentation and liaising with freight forwarders and customs agents
- Applying your strong knowledge of Incoterms to ensure compliance and efficient processes
- Supporting daily logistics operations within a fast-paced office environment
What you need to succeed:
- Proven experience in logistics coordination, specifically with imports and exports
- Good understanding and practical use of Incoterms
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in Wigan, Monday to Friday
