We have an exciting contract opportunity for Desktop& Laptop SupportTechnician with one of our leading clients.About the roleWeare looking for a dependable and technically proficient IT Support Engineer tojoin our Onsite BAU team supporting the WM Morrisons account. The role involvesscheduled support for incidents and service requests, hardware break-fix, andremote assistance across customer sites. OverviewOur client is currently looking for a recruit in joining their current team, below are the job details for your reference:You can also ask our friendly recruitment team for any questions you may have about the role, between 09.00am till 17.00pm Monday to Friday.Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) OnsiteLocation: 71 Gain Lane - Bradford Working Hours:

  • Shift 1: 08:00 AM - 16:00 PM
  • Shift 2: 09:00 AM - 17:00 PM

Contract Duration: 4 MonthsRoles and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incidents and service requests scheduled by the GSC (Global Service Centre)
  • Perform hardware break-fix support for HP and Dell desktops and laptops
  • Resolve software-related issues and fulfil software service requests
  • Provide remote support to customer sites as needed
  • Communicate promptly with the Team Lead if delayed before shift start

Other stuff we're potentially looking for:

  • Proven experience in IT support, particularly in hardware break-fix and software troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with HP and Dell hardware platforms
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to adhere to onsite protocols and shift punctuality expectations

  • A daily rate, in-scope IR35, of £ 14.54 (PAYE) OR £18.87 (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
