The Role

Keniston is seeking a Technical Officer to support the delivery of responsive repairs, voids, and planned maintenance across its housing stock. This is a varied, site-focused role where you'll act as the key technical point of contact, ensuring works are delivered to a high standard, on time, and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out pre- and post-inspections of repair works, identifying defects and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Diagnose building issues and specify appropriate remedial works.
  • Oversee void properties, including inspections, scoping works, and monitoring progress to completion.
  • Act as Clerk of Works on larger void projects and planned programmes such as redecorations and component replacements.
  • Manage contractors on site, ensuring delivery against time, cost, and quality expectations.
