At Hays Education, we're working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Thornton-Cleveleys to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant who can make a real difference in the classroom. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with class teachers to support pupils across a range of abilities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting learning activities in the classroom
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour
  • Helping to prepare resources and learning materials
  • Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting (school, nursery, youth work, etc.)
  • A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
