Hays Education is working with a secondary school in Walsall that is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support students within its Alternative Provision.
This is a funded role supporting young people who may be struggling to access mainstream education due to social, emotional or behavioural barriers.
The school isn't simply looking for someone to supervise students.
They're looking for someone who can build trust, earn respect and help young people believe in themselves again.
The Opportunity You'll be supporting students who may have: SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs Behavioural difficulties Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD Attendance challenges Difficulties engaging in mainstream lessons Gaps in learning and confidence Many of these students are bright, capable young people who simply need additional support to unlock their potential.
