We are working in partnership with a welcoming and high-achieving secondary school in Wigan to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics for a permanent position starting in September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and well-led Maths department that values strong subject knowledge, inclusive teaching and high expectations for all learners. The Role
- Teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed but not essential)
- Planning and delivering clear, engaging lessons that build confidence and mathematical fluency
- Encouraging problem-solving, logical thinking and resilience
- Assessing pupil progress and using data to inform teaching
- Working collaboratively within a friendly, established Maths department
What We're Looking For
- A UK-qualified Maths Teacher (QTS or QTLS)
- Confident teaching across KS3-KS4
- A passion for Mathematics and supporting student progress
