Job Description
Your new companyProfessional and supportive independent firm with a well-established tax team seeking to recruit a Trusts and Estates Tax specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with prior experience of trusts and estates work to join a firm which has a strong focus on staff well-being and work-life balance and has a very stable tax team.
Your new roleWorking with a varied portfolio of clients, you will undertake a mix of compliance and advisory work across a range of tax matters including CGT, IHT, residence and domicile and property. Additionally, you will prepare and review trust and estate tax returns and will provide support to clients in relation to IHT planning, estate administration and planning throughout the life-cycle of the process. You will work closely with your clients, building excellent relationships and will guide colleagues on trusts and estates queries for their clients.
What you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you will possess excellent personal tax experience gained within an accountancy firm and will have gained experience managing both compliance and advisory aspects relating to trusts and estates. Relevant qualifications would be beneficial (e.g. ACA/ ACCA/ ATT/ CTA) but experience will be key.
Additionally, you will be great at developing and managing excellent relationships internally and externally and will be adept at managing deadlines, prioritising workload and collaborating with team members.
