About the Role
As a General Operative, you will support critical manufacturing and production processes within a regulated environment. This role plays an essential part in ensuring quality, compliance, and operational efficiency while contributing to impactful work in the life sciences sector.
Location: Swindon, UK (On-site - Kingfisher Drive)
Job Type: Full-time | 12-month contract
Start Date: ASAP
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (Early: 7:00-15:00 | Late: 15:00-22:45)
Pay Rate: £13.86/hour + 22% shift allowance
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Overtime: Available (including weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain and maintain Bronze License Badge for production area (Grade C/D) access
- Follow gowning and cleaning procedures for aseptic and non-aseptic areas
- Perform cleaning activities in line with SOPs
- Support materials handling and transfer into classified production areas
- Monitor stock levels and ensure materials are within expiry dates
- Maintain equipment and production areas according to cGMP and regulatory standards
- Operate airlocks and assist with autoclave and part washer processes (post-training)
- Assist with packaging, labelling, and in-process checks
- Report non-conformances to management or QA teams
- Conduct environmental monitoring
