A leading international organisation operating within a fast-paced sector is seeking a qualified Financial Accountant (12 months FTC) to join its established finance team. With a reputation for operational excellence and continuous improvement, the business offers a collaborative environment where technical accounting expertise is highly valued. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in delivering accurate statutory reporting and ensuring compliance across a portfolio of entities. This is a highly visible role that offers exposure to senior stakeholders, external auditors and a wide range of technical accounting matters. You'll be responsible for supporting year-end reporting requirements, managing financial compliance obligations and contributing to the ongoing development of finance processes and controls. Alongside your core reporting responsibilities, you'll have the opportunity to become involved in finance improvement initiatives and wider projects across the business, making this an excellent role for someone looking to combine technical accounting expertise with commercial exposure. To be successful in this role, you'll be a qualified ACA or ACCA (or International equivalent) accountant with strong technical accounting skills and a keen eye for detail. Experience gained within audit, assurance or financial reporting. Strong statutory accounting and financial reporting knowledge. Experience of SAP or a similar ERP system would be advantageous.
