Your new company is Solihull Council, where you will be part of a great organisation that puts people at the heart of everything they do.

Your main job as a support worker will be to assist residents with normal activities of daily living, promoting independence and maintaining an individual's dignity and respect. You should encourage service users to have confidence and high self-esteem, while ensuring they have fun.

The shifts include domiciliary care, personal care, and medication runs. The hours are Monday - Friday 9:30 - 16:30 and it is located in Solihull.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • At least 6 months experience within a Social Care role
  • Level 2 in Health and Social Care
  • Enhanced DBS with adult's barred list (Hays can request a new DBS)
  • Able to obtain employment references from the past 5 years
  • Understanding of the responsibilities of a Support Worker
  • A passion for caring for individuals and making an impact on people’s lives!
