Job Description
Your new roleWe are currently recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to work in primary and secondary schools in the St Helens & Newton Le Willows area on a temporary basis starting in September & beginning of October. If you are passionate about supporting children's learning and development, this position could be for you.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils across a range of subjects and age groups
- Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
- Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring inclusive learning environments
- Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Work flexibly across different schools and year groups
What you'll need to succeed
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Previous experience working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and adaptable approach to working in different school environments
- DBS
- Full right to work in the UK
