Your new school: I work in partnership with a variety of primary schools across the St Helens area, who have daily requirements for supply teachers to cover mornings, afternoons and full days.

Your new role: Working as a supply teacher, you will be working in a range of schools and year groups, and you can choose as few or as many days a week as you would like to work based on your individual situation. The majority of our supply work is pre-booked, which enables you to familiarise yourself with the school beforehand. You will be working across year groups from nursery through to Year 6 and will often find yourself returning to schools on a regular basis. Whether you are an ECT looking to build their experience, or an experienced teacher looking to work some additional days, I would love to hear from you!

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Hold qualified teacher status (or have completed your degree and due to get QTS in the summer)
  • Have recent and relevant experience working within a primary school setting
  • Be an approachable and patient primary teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to quickly build effective relationships with students, parents and colleagues
